Laser Safety

The policy of Georgia Tech is to implement laser safety according to the current revision of the ANSI Z136.1 Safe Use of Lasers standard. Tech’s written policy and procedures for this safety program are currently under revision and efforts are underway to establish a comprehensive inventory of Class 3B and Class 4 lasers located at Georgia Tech.
